mammax3 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 He's out with his friends tonight for the first time in a long time. We don't ever spend friday's together (but will text). We're big texters. Think I can text him while he's out? Is that tacky? Thanks for your input. I don't want to come across as desperate or unable to go an evening without a text - if that's how you think it'd be. I more just want to show that I was thinking about him.

Author mammax3 Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Thanks - and no offense taken, of course. I'm glad you responded! Whew!
girl68 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 How long you been dating? If you do text make it a message not a question. Or do as carhill says: make it something dirty.
hoping2heal Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I agree that it depends on where you're at in your relationship. If you're both in love with eachother and have expressed that, I wouldn't persay expect to carry on a convo with him via text, but I would leave him a little thinking of you/hope you're having a great time text.
carhill Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I suggested a voice mail because: 1. It's a change-up, considering they always text 2. Most men love and long for the sound of their woman's voice 3. It's for his ears only. No text for anyone else to read. Enjoy!
missmich Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I've been dating a guy for 2 months now and I have texted him when I know he's out with friends or co workers. Just to say something like "hey sexy hope your enjoying the night out" or whatever. Sometimes he will text back and forth with me and sometime he won't text until he gets home later that night. Either is fine with me. I didn't get the sense that he's bothered by my texts otherwise I wouldn't do it. I have sent him a few somewhat dirty ones and he will text back asap and a couple times they ended with him coming over lol
SoulSearch_CO Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 In that situation, I'd rather not text and let him wonder. LOL At least then I'm not sitting around thinking about him non-stop. He starts to wonder what I'm up to. It's not a game-play...it's called having one's own life.
