aotc Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Hey LS, haven't been thinking about girls for a while but now I'm back, haha. I have a few nice opportunities going on but there's one I was wondering about. A few days ago in one of my new classes I was walking out and held the door open for this girl. I turned around and she turned out to be really pretty. At the time she was on her cell so I wasn't going to make a conversation, I just gave her a smile. Then this morning at that class I waddled in and sat down wherever, looked to the side, and she happened to be on the other side of the row. Throughout the class we met eyes a few times and I saw her do thing where she looks behind her and while she's turning her head back looks directly at me. This encouraged me to say something to her after class. We caught eyes a lot of times. As the end approached, I was reading to start a conversation with her as we were walking out, but she packed up and left about 30 seconds early. She gave me one last look before she walked away. I'm just wondering if this is a bad sign, like she got up early just to prevent me from talking to her, because I definitely was going to do it. I guess that led me to think into it a bit more and wondered if girls will purposely make it harder for a guy to pursue them for the thrill of "the chase" as people say. Whatever it is, next time I'm just gonna say screw it and sit next to her and strike up a talk there instead of relying on walking out.
BCCA Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 You know what sucks? It could either. She could think she is being hard to get, or she could have noticed you staring and think youre creepy. Was she smiling at you at any point? In any event, just go for it dude. Youve got nothing to lose.
Author aotc Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 Yeah that is what sucks. No, girls usually don't smile at me, which doesn't help, but if she thought I was creepy, why would I sometimes catch her looking at me first? I'm sorry if this seems too analytical, but I'm really bad with body language and eye contact. I never know what to make of it.
BCCA Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I agree, women rarely smile, but that would be a good indicator if she did. She could have looked at you to see if you were still looking at her, or she could have been attracted. Again, no idea. Everyone is different, and without knowing anything about her, its just hard to say. Just make a move next time, and youll have all your answers.
Author aotc Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 Yeahhh, very true. Even if she thinks I'm the biggest creep in the world, another girl I saw the other day who I went to high school with works in the gym, and she gave me a big smile. Hopefully she's working tomorrow!
BCCA Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Thats the spirit! Plenty of fish, my man, plenty of fish...
