joejohnson Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 So I met this girl around feb of this year, everything went great for about 2 months, she would tell me how happy she was and that she was glad to have someone like me in her life, I make her feel special, etc (I don't think the guy's in her past have been very nice to her), then for no reason whatsoever she decided to call things off, she gave the whole lets be friends things telling me that she does not think that it will work and that she does not think I am her type. Here is where it gets internesting, when we chat online she seems to make it a point to find out if I am talking to any other girls, if I tell her that I am she gets mad and I won't hear from her for at least a week, then when we do start talking again there will be noticeable tension with her attitude. She also seems to tell me things in order to get under my skin. I have been in alot of situations before where I have broken up with the girl and never heard from her again and situations where I have ever remained friends with them. I have never been in a situation like this, maybe I have just been lucky. Any ideas? Joe
5105571 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 First, it's disappointing that nobody has responded to this, but I'll give it my best shot. Confront her. If she's the one that called it off and then gets angry when you see someone else, call her out on it. She can't have it both ways, she's either in this or not. I guess you need to decide if you want to try again with her or not (assuming she's interested again), but mostly just find out what her big problem with it is. Also, this can be a classic case of "wanting what you can't have" for her. She sees you've moved on, you're not pining for her and now she feels she's not getting the attention she deserves from you. If this is the case, don't stroke her ego, because the whole thing's a waste of time and she just needs to get over it, so that means you need to cut her loose.
