He has called me four times on his own... Can i call him now without him calling me

BOTTOM LINE: HE HAS CALLED ME FOUR TIMES ON HIS OWN... CAN I CALL HIM NOW WITHOUT HIM CALLING ME?

 

 

 

There was this guy I meet last semester in a class. We exchanged numbers to study. However, we talked everyday, him calling me and texting through out the day. During this time things were platonic. I found out he had a girlfriend about half way through. I told him that although he hasnt done anything wrong I did not feel right talking to a guy everyday who has a girlfriend and ask him to contact me when he was single.

 

Six months later (which was three days ago) he texts me to see how I am doing. I ask how him and his girlfriend are doing and he says they broke up a few weeks ago. Since he contacted me we have texted all day and he has called me three out of five nights. We texted all day yesterday but he didn't call at night like he has the previous night and I have only heard from him once today. I have not initiated anything other then asking him to meet up with us on friday for a possible drink since I was going to be in town.

 

Is this just a friendship thing?

 

Is he waiting for me to call him now since he has done all the work for the past week.

 

And in case your wondering. I have let him contact me first through out the week. your advice would be greatly needed. I do like him and not sure what to do next?

I've gone through the same thing on the other side of the fence many times before. Being the one to contact and contact while the woman plays games is never enjoyable.

IDK as a guy I hate talking on the phone. Women on the other hand...oh god. Anyway, when I call a woman it's because I have a reason. If you have a good enough reason I don't think he'll mind lol.

Did he agree to come along? If he did, it gives you the perfect excuse to call him to set up the details. I really wouldn't worry so much if I were you. If you like the guy, call him! Maybe he expects you to reciprocate. All those rules books can f*ck with your mind if you read too many of them, honestly.. Just go with your instinct and don't fret whether you're doing the right thing or not.

As a woman, I hate talking on the phone as well. If you think women are bad, you obviously have no idea how men are..Good God, some of them can talk your ear off instead of just getting to the point and saying why the hell they're calling.

Games are a waste of time, and books/websites that tell you when to call are the very reason dating/getting to know people has become so difficult. As a guy myself, I find it so annoying when girls do that. And guys know they do, but the smart guys start to lose interest when girls start doing that.
