crrogers Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I met somoeone online through a personals dating site. We never spoke on the phone beforehand, we just texted before the date. He told me before the date that he wanted to meet early in the week because later in the week he was going to Mt Rushmore in South Dakota on vacation for a week or so.... We met and I thought the date went well and I got a lot of clues that he was enjoying himself, too. For example, he said that I was better looking in person than in my pictures online, he insisted on paying for dinner, et cetera. The next day I text messaged him and said I would love to see some pics of Mt. Rushmore when he came back.. He immediately teted me back saying that "...it was nice meeting me and that we should get together again when he got back into town." Well, he is supposed to get back into town Thursday, so I text messaged him this AM asking him how his cross-country trip with his friends is going, and never heard back from him..... In your opinion, am I worrying needlessly?
carhill Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Yep, worrying needlessly is pretty apt. One, you've just met. Two, he's traveling. Lastly, most guys who read formula books know better than to put thoughts of/texts to potential sexual/romantic partners before their buds, or even on the same page. Keep that in mind
DarkestDreams Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 You've only had one date and you have already initiated contact twice. He seems interested enough, so let him enjoy his trip and wait for him to initiate contact after he gets back. He knows you're interested, ball's in his court.
