Or have you had a job like that where you wouldn't be able to see your boyfriend/girlfriend that often? If so how did you deal with it, and did things work fine for you two?
burningashes Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Yes, my job require that I work overnight shifts or hours bunched into 24 hour shifts etc. As well as my boyfriend, he's in law enforcement so he works really weird hours too. This week is the perfect example- the last time I saw him was Saturday. I've been working from Sunday till tomorrow morning. My days off this week is wednesday and thursday, then I will be returning to work for Friday and Sunday. My boyfriend has been free all week and will start work tomorrow till Saturday. So we both won't be able to see each other until Monday :/ We deal with it by sending each other texts and chat about our days and what we've been up to, and so on. It keeps us connected and we're really looking forward to seeing each other again on monday
