So I just went to run outside to get ready to mow the lawn. I look at our shed. The two doors are completely swung open. The wind could not have done this, as a padlock hinges the two doors together. It probably wasn't locked. Seriously, this better not be X. The two times I was dumb and picked up the phone, he kept asking about my plans for the weekend.... when I'd be around and gone. It creeps me out. There wasn't anymore calls from him since Saturday night. I thought eventually he just gave up.

LOL I think you are jumping to conclusions here. If anyone broke in, it'd be a homeless guy looking take some tools.

God I hope so. But I'm in a small town of a thousand people. We don't have homeless people here. The whole town would know about it if we did. Maybe it's not X, but it gives me the creeps after all the psycho phone calls, ya know?

This might sound like an over-reaction, but if you think this guy is capable of this, I would go to your local police station, tell them that maybe you are over-reacting, maybe it is nothing to do with this guy, but that you are a little nervous, and would they take a note of this incident just in case down the line anything else happens, that way there is some evidence there. Don't want to scare you, but it's worth covering your back.

Having said that, if the padlock wasn't locked, it could have been some curious local kids who had a peek inside. Just don't ever answer the phone again to this guy or give him any information as to your whereabouts or movements.

I think you're overreacting, Dreamer. But if you're really concerned, call the police and make a report.

I probably am. It just gives me the creeps though. A few years ago I lived in a second story apartment with a private entrance. I came home the next day after being out with friends. My door was now unlocked (I always locked it before leaving), my computer was on, someone had been talking on my instant messenger, replying to online texts, there was a water bottle at my computer, my belconey door was all the way open. The week before, the sliding door was pushed over, and the screen to my bedroom window was on the ground below. I had reported all of it, but no one ever figured out who it was. That stuff scares the crap out of me!
