Does exposing an affair only push the two cheaters closer together?

The second I confronted my husband with my discovery he backtracked and immediately disavowed himself of everything completely dropping the OMW right then and there. And this, was following months of ILY's, and them sharing proclamations of undying eternal *love*.

 

For a guy who 'wants' to be married to his spouse they will high tail it out of the affair. If their goal is to have the AP and not the wife then they'll be the man God intended and do the right thing.

 

If it doesn't feel like love it usually isn't. A man living with another woman as husband and wife pretty much says it all. From statistics I've read only 10% of MM leave for the AP and of that number only a small number remain there. Some guys even go 'home' after they have divorced.

 

It is pretty whimpy and weird.
