B200 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 OK I would appreciate a bit of advice here. Sorry for such a long post...I don't know what to do. There is this girl. I like her. For a long time we've had this hate thing going on in school and we always argued. Well Friday night was our leavers party, we're 18 and we're leaving school for good. Emotional times. But a couple of weeks ago we were both out, and as she was about to leave the club she gave me a goodbye hug and to my surprise started kissing me! I didn't respond, I just kept my lips still and my mouth open and didn't really know what to do because I was just taken completely by surprise. So then we pulled away and she said I wasn't a very good kisser, I said I can't kiss you because you have a boyfriend as a lame excuse when the real reason I didn't kiss back was because I was just so surprised...and then she went home. I had no idea she liked me. We didn't talk about it until Friday night...several weeks of slight awkwardness which I tried to ignore. So, I was out on Friday night, and I got pretty drunk. I had an argument with some of my friends and I kind of stormed out and sobered up quite fast (anger does that to me), but she followed and tried to stop me but we ended up going for a walk and being quite (physically) close and having a long talk. She told me she really liked me. She also told me she'd slept with this guy that I really don't like (and everyone including me thought SHE didn't like!)...and I can't get over that. I'm pissed off still about that. So after a long talk, she was kind of lying on my lap for a while, we went back and went our separate ways. Next night (last night) we were both out again, but we didn't act any different. Just like friends...nothing special, like nothing ever happened. So later on she went home and I stayed out with the others having a great time and getting really drunk and then some random woman who I heard was on TV came onto the stage in the disco room and I had to get off the dance floor...But this is irrelevant So now I don't know what to do. I like her, don't know if she still likes me...would she go off me that quick? I am not hugely experienced in relationships, only had one girlfriend which wasn't very serious and who left me because I went to west Africa without telling her (forgot because other stuff was going on, DON'T say that's terrible because that other thing happened to be standing by my grandad's death bed as he choked to death). I've had a couple of flings...once with a Russian pop star that I met on a river cruise during a family holiday! That was weird because she spoke no English so we spoke in bits of French, German and my very limited Russian. OK I think I made it clear I'm not an experienced relationshipist. I really would appreciate any advice on how to deal with this situation and get the best out of it...like I said I do like her, I hope she still likes me (can one day make a difference?). We're on a one week break, then we have our final school exams before leaving school forever and never having to put the uniform back on.
