...that tried to look you up on Facebook and tried to add you?

Anyone ever try to think, "Hm, whatever happened to that cute girl/guy back in HS" and decided to look them up online through Facebook and add them?

Ladies, would you accept their Facebook friendship and vice versa with men?

I've dont it before, and if I was a woman, I would only accept it realizing that the guy either just wants to see what you're up to, or more than likely, just always wanted to have sex with you.

I know a lot of guys that do that, see the girl is married, and then never say a word to her or even remove her.

I would accept it as a guy if the girl was cute, but if it was someone I never found attractive, I would only accept it if she appeared to have cute friends.

Just being honest, a mans motivation is 90% based on the opportunity to have sex.

Or dating (not just the sex) :)

Dating is a possibility, too. I just like to remind the women of this world that a guys motivations with women are always based off his level of desire to sleep with her. Even if he wants to seriously date you, he wants to seriously date you so the two of you can be having sex.

Ugh, this happened to me just this week.

The guy I very first went out with, ya that guy who ran away with my cherry when I was 17.. he looked me up on Facebook and added me as friend.

We dated for 3 years. He dumped me when I was 19 to go out with the department manager who was on the A&E dept where I worked as a student. Nice triangle there then. Later that year, he came back... telling me he wanted me back and he'd only stayed with her because she told him she was pregnant. She wasn't this was what he told me so he could have sex with me and dump me later. Needless to say even at a naive 20, I told him to get lost.

So when I allowed his friend request, I did it with a very terse "what do you want..?" He hasn't replied since. I don't intend keeping him on the list because I don't want him seeing all my friends and my info. But it's nice to let him see how well I'm doing now and how high I've managed to climb without him.

It means nothing. Probably he added everyone from his highschool that he found. Sure, I've looked up old highschool guys and gals. Ones I hate, ones I crushed on and everyone in between. Just curious how ugly, fat, pretty, skinny, rich, or poor they've become. Nothing more.

I've friended nearly every person I went to high school with and was in the fraternity with from college that I've seen on FB. I wouldn't say I was suspicious. All of us are pushing forty, most married, some divorced, some out of the closet, not looking for anything except some sweet nostalgia that comes with reconnecting.

Suspicious of what?

People have dozens and dozens of facebook friends bc they friend everyone they've ever met, not because they're actually friends with 254 people or whatever. Don't read too much into it.
