Oh my God, he went out on tuesday evening with a neighbor. He doesn't drink that much, so I guess by the last stop he was pretty drunk and said he was going to stay in the car. When they looked for him he was gone, they assumed he caught a ride or a cab.

He has seizure disorder and has been hospitalized many times with grand mal seizures. There is so much rain here in volsuia county, flooding, 60 roads are closed.

I am so scared he had a seizure and drowned. I've called all the hospitals, the jail, the morgue, put out a missing persons report, but they don't really check and we have such emergency conditions with the weather.

He would never cheat or go off to do drugs. I KNOW this.

you DO realize alcohol is a drug, don't you?

that aside, your story is terrifying. were you two on bad terms when he left? does he have anything back at home he needs to return to (job, etc.)? is there anybody else he could be staying with temporarily (friends, family) that you could contact?

i wish you luck and hope he returns soon!

I'm so very sorry Melody, you must be going crazy with fear and worry. It sounds like you've done everything you can, and I pray that you get news that he's safe very soon.

Thank you all so much. Yes, we were on great terms. He was going to do laundry with our neighbor and shoot some pool, have a few beers. I guess they went on to the next club, and thats when he stayed outside. We kissed goodbye and I warned him not to drink too much.

I feel so helpless. His dad drove in from an hout away and is searching the streets. This is insane, I don't even know what to do from moment to moment.

Thansk you much my long standing LS friends.

He had my cell phone. I called my provider and it was turned on at 9:52 last night in Clearwater FL, a good 300 miles from our house. I don't know if this is a good or bad sign, maybe's he's in a hospitl that I haven't called.

I just wanted to update. This is the most horrible thing..the waiting, the not knowing..

At least you have a lead. I am so sorry you are going through this.

I don't know you, Melody, as I'm new here, but I can feel the pain radiating through the computer! I'm so sorry you're going through this...know that someone out West is thinking about/praying for you & your family.

Take care!

Melody -

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. This post sent a chill up my spine! Please let us know what's happening.

Thinking of you and hoping for good news soon. Look after yourself.

Call the Clearwater Police Department, get them out looking. If possible, ask for the stations email address, and send a photo of your husband to them.

Seriously, even call your local newspapers, and TV stations.

Here in Ontario, if an adult is missing, they DO put it on TV, in the paper etc.. Especially when there's a medical problem involved.

Sorry that you have to go through this, the stress of not knowing is awful!! I hope that he is found safe and sound soon.

Keep us updated. Hugs..

Have you tried calling your cell phone from your home phone or another phone to see if anyone answers?

 What? This is terrible! I can only imagine how you're feeling right now! Please try to hang in there, and do what some others suggested, maybe alert the police where you said your phone had been located! Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time! let us know what's going on.

You seem pretty confident...any ideas what he might be doing and why he is missing?
