confusedcookie Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 So, i'm so proud of myself for standing strong, and not phoning, and everybody on LS is right, with each passing day of NC, you feel better. the first 3 days were so horrible, but now, i'm almost okay again =) so, something happened today that gave me more insight to our situation and furthermore how it won't work. before we broke up, i went on a vacation with my gfs, he (my ex) kept phoning me during our trip even when i told him it was very very expensive bc of the roaming and everything, but no worries he assured me he would pay for the bill. he said money wasn't a problem as long as he knew what i was doing and safe. then fast forward to 3 days ago, i refuse to make contact with him, so i went to visit his friend and ask his friend to be a messenger and tell my ex if he could pay for the $150 for my inl airtime charges. i gave him my number and told him to call me when he got the money so i can pick it up. no calls from his friend until today, i went to see him again. his friend tells me that he doesn't want us to break up and that if he gave me the money, it would severe our last ties together. his friend tells me, just call him, he's a guy, he needs face, he needs to be able to save his pride, that's why he can't call. haha, can you believe it, my ex is throwing everything out the window, bc of his face? he needs to save face in front of his friend (bc my ex was the one to tell his friend never to call your gf first bc they will always come running back, and you get the power if you don't call first). i'm going to conclude that if a guy doesn't care or love me more than trying to save face and his pride, then he is not even worth my s h i t !!!! now my last glimmer of false hope has died, bc he will never call him, bc his face is that important. that is enough closure for me.
