He still loves me and I love him but he also loves the other woman. He said that if we got together again, he still wants to have her as a "friend". My heart says No. He said that I don't trust him. The other woman would do anything for him and wants to marry him. I think she will make him feel bad that he is not with her and he will give in and do something that will destroy us. Can a man be friends with an "old" lover?

I think he thinks your naiive due to the fact that he suggested it, if I was you I would make him choose and that's that. In the end it will be you who will loose.
