dreamergrl Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Seriously, this is getting creepy. I block this guy right, and I'm still getting IM's from him. I blocked his mail on myspace, he made another freaking account and emailed me. Plus, it was February that we went out, you'd think he moved on by now. W E I R D O
BCCA Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 LOL wow...what is he even saying? "Hey, seems pretty obvious youre avoiding me, but do you want to get dinner Friday?" My goodness.

Continue to reject his advances - directly and forcefully. If it continues, report his profile to site management.
paddington bear Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Crikey! Yes, keep him blocked. He needs to get the message. Emailing back to explain will only engage him further, he's looking to get some kind of result from you...speaking of creepy things since I handed out my business card to 2 odd guys in an art gallery last week I've been getting daily unlisted number calls which when I answer go dead. I'm sure it's one of them. Next time I'm not going to answer at all.
Lucky555 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I'm not the only one huh. I kept the annoying man that has been sending me messages for no apparent business on my facebook..my whole friends issue. I AM NOT TALKING TO HIM though. So he messages me today with some stupid comment. I am not replying, he should get the message after awhile. I feel your agony....Losers just don't move on or something!!!
CommitmentPhobe Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 What the hell do these messages say? You seriously shut down on him a few months back after one date and he's still mailing you?
Chrome Barracuda Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Batman was smart but wasnt a complete computer genius. Hhahahaha. Trust if he looks up your IP address and translates your exact position where your computer is on a map through your PC tower. ...that is a sign of the batman. lol. Just ignore him, if he continues, get a restraining order.

WhyYesThankYou Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah... I agree the guy should have moved on. I was wondering if I was missing a cultural reference by your calling this guy "Batman"? I assume that in the unlikely event Batman was turned down by a girl, he'd either just move on, or (if he's kinkier than I previously thought) abduct her and take her back to his Batcave. I think you may have identified a new supervillain: SuperStalker.

Star Gazer Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 What is he saying to you, Dreamer? Does he know where you live/work?

Cora Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I have been in similar situations...yeah creepy. But nothing compares to when I got stalked in real life. Back when I used to take night classes at college there was this guy who came up to me and said he needed a ride home. I told him I had class. He kind of walked off. This was a four hour class mind you. Once it was over I walked out only to find him in the freaking lobby waiting for me. He was like can you give me a ride home now? By this point I'm freaking out and I tell him no I don't give rides to strangers. I quickly walk to my car with him following me. I just get in, lock the doors and get the hell out of there. I had seen this guy around before and I think he actually worked in the same building I did because I would see him around from time to time but thought nothing of it. He suddenly started coming by my office and asking me for my phone number. I told him no. After getting tired of his attempts I finally just gave him some bogus number. Don't ask me how he tracked down what church I went to but the following Sunday he walked in and sat right next to me and said you know that wasn't a very nice thing you did giving me the wrong number! Thankfully I never heard from him again after that. But WOW he really freaked me out!
WhyYesThankYou Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Batman:) Ahhhh, right. Cheers. I did see that thread the other day but failed to make the connection. (insert embarrassed emoticon here) I thought maybe "Batman" was a term the kids are using nowadays to talk about cyberstalkers who can leap tall firewalls with a single bound.
Star Gazer Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Maybe you forgot to turn your bat signal off? :lmao:
Author dreamergrl Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 It's just basic "hey, what's up" or "get in touch"... but yeah Umm like three months ago, one date, and that was it. I swear, there's no freaking bat signal coming from me. I don't reply to this guy at all, ever. Where the heck is Superman to save me
