James_A7X Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Okay, I'm 16 5 9" and I weigh 220 pounds and I recently just broke up with my girlfriend because every time I asked her to hang out with me and my friends or asked to come over i always got the answer "I'm busy" or "I don't know" and it got old, so I broke up with her but I'm confused there is this girl I have talked to for a long time though I don't really see myself dating her but she is amazing nice, funny, everything but I don't know if I should make the move and ask her to a date or something but, the bad thing is she lives about 30 mins away and I don't have a car/licences /=

The first girl is not interested in you and is giving you the run around because she doesn't have the courage to say she ain't interested and probably doesn't want friction. You say you don't see yourself dating this amazing, nice, funny girl - so you don't have chemistry with her either. Look for someone who is terrible, rude and has the sense of humor of godzilla - but gives you great chemistry...jk
bean1 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I'm confused, what does your height and weight have to do with anything?
carhill Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 He's overweight. BTDT. At 16, everything is shallow and superficial (not an indictment). I concur with the "stay single and hang out with the dudes" line of thought. Plenty of time to get your noodle (and those love emotions) wet

You've the double benefit of getting fit and getting to see a girl you like. Or are you somewhere where it's just motorways and no way for you to use a bike?
bean1 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Then he should hit the gym because my SO is 5'9 and 220! Pure muscle I'm sure that would go well with 16 year old girls too.
carhill Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Nah, I was that size (a little taller) and played high school football and it didn't matter. At that age, either you've got it or you don't. A lot depends on the school. Ours was small and private, so girls were more "discriminating" or they slummed with the public school boys
xpaperxcutx Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Some people could be 5'8 and 200 something pounds and still be fit. I'm curious OP, are you fat or muscle? Are you a wrestler? I think being 16 if you weigh that much you could be overweight. But then if you add in your height, it might be something completely different. And maybe your ex was shallow.

Ours was small and private, so girls were more "discriminating" or they slummed with the public school boys Well the school I go to is full a rich preppy kids which are quite annoying, let's just say the group of people I hang out with would be the group of kids who enjoy music. Buy a bicycle, 30 minutes car drive...hmmm could be cycled in maybe an hour. You've the double benefit of getting fit and getting to see a girl you like. Or are you somewhere where it's just motorways and no way for you to use a bike? Well, I just can't seem to loose this weight, I have been doing a lot of running and a lot of physical activity, but my dad said he was the same exact way. Disengage your contact with both and remain single. Look for someone who is terrible, rude and has the sense of humor of godzilla - but gives you great chemistry...jk Well, I was her first for everything besides kiss, I was the first guy she made out with etc. Yeah, that could make a lot of sense. Will do Some people could be 5'8 and 200 something pounds and still be fit. I'm curious OP, are you fat or muscle? Are you a wrestler? I think being 16 if you weigh that much you could be overweight. But then if you add in your height, it might be something completely different. And maybe your ex was shallow. Well, I would say in between. And about her being shallow, I don't think she was because I talked to her about giving me the answers that she always said, and she just said that "she has always been like that" So I don't know.

LOL, yeah, I know what you mean. I think there were two of us who didn't have a Bimmer or a Benz in the parking lot. Everyone knew who the Mustang and the Coronet belonged to and where to hang for the awesome tunes Girls are flighty at your age. Even the "serious" ones. Hormones are raging. Don't worry about it. Be yourself. You never know who's watching

Might just have to wait for next year
carhill Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 We went to school. We socialized on the "main". (Car cruise). That and street racing (very different back in your father's and grandfather's time) defined me. Girls were superfluous So, go find a place to hang out. We hung out at the main, at the lake, and at the gas stations where the hot public school guys worked. There were always girls showing up to get "full service"

Well, I gotta be home by 8 because friend got caught stealing at k-mart and I got dragged into it blah blah blah lol.. yeah, but if anyone would like to chat on myspace profile link: myspace.com/45481505 Don't do that. We're here to give advice, not stalk each other. Oh and from personal experience, I used to be overweight. Like very. I started working out, from running to extreme cardio, and incorporating weight training, I went from a 145 to a current 110 frame. It took me a while, but it was worth it. Since you have nothing to do in the summer, start weight training, not a diet. Diet is about losing weight, weight training is about getting into shape. Go jogging, buy some dumbbells and do reps. Eat healthily, and by the time school starts, you'll be turning heads.
carhill Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Oh, now he's a hoodlum, criminal and juvenile delinquent.... Babe magnet!
