wow123 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I was with a girl for the past 7 months. I know she was perfect for me. I slowly became less of a challenge and she lost interest and finally ended up dumping me. I know I screwed up and she isn't coming back. How do I get over her when I know she was the one???? -
carhill Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Date the next "one". BTW, with the "one", being a "challenge" or not won't matter
MartyMcFly Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Send a nice message to someone you haven't seen in awhile asking them how they are and what they're doing with their life since you saw them. Go jogging or for a walk. Have a shower, shave, clean your room, clean your house, do the laundry, mow the lawns. Check your messages, you might have a nice reply to your message. Maybe offer to arrange lunch or drinks sometime to catch up. Pretty important: Be nice to everybody, it will make you feel better about yourself and if you believe in karma that's an extra. At night get into bed with your electric blanket or heater on and read a book until your eyes feel heavy. In short get on with your life, don't give yourself time to dwell on what could have been. If she contacts you then be civil and don't turn it into an argument or a mope-fest, keep it friendly. All relationships are different, so this would be the only advice I'm comfortable to give.
