We'd been on dates before, and we've always had a good chemistry. We just had a great evening starting with dinner, movie, dessert, cocktail party, then my place. I guess I wasn't so sure because she didn't have a lot of experience. Alas, I just gave this girl her first kiss. She was a nervous WRECK:sick:, and just absolutely adorable:D. I just couldn't resist:love:. How much am I going to mean to her? I think she's been falling for me pretty hard because she hadn't had any real boyfriends before (inexperienced, anyone?) I like her company, I just don't know how far I can go with this girl, and she's so nice that I'd hate to make...life more difficult than necessary. NOTE: I leave for summer tomorrow and told her at the end that we should stay in touch but not sure how summer is going to pan out and we'll see how we feel once we get back. Insight from ladies especially appreciated because well, as a guy who got his first kiss over a summer camp/fling and never really felt bad about it, I think it's pretty safe to say that guys think a bit differently...? Though I may be wrong.
SoulSearch_CO Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hrm. The first guy I kissed didn't turn out to be all that special to me. I didn't develop any hardcore deep feelings for him. I dumped him actually about a month later. But if she was ALREADY developing feelings for you, you shouldn't have kissed her if you didn't think you felt seriously about her. She's going to get her heart broken. Congrats on being her first heartbreak.
xpaperxcutx Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 My first kiss was taken by a guy who I randomly started seeing one day, then stopped seeing a week later. Everybody's different. There's a significance to different things for everyone. If she's the kind that values a kiss or anything that might be insignificant to others, then it might she might hold on to the fact that you might become an important figure in her life. The decision is up to you whether you'll treasure her better for it, or use her like most guys that might not hold a kiss as a significant thing.
