OCCDAVE Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Ok so the next few days ill be attending some outings with my girlfriend who i have been dating a few months now.I got word that my ex will also be at these outings so i needed help.She has been texting me non stop saying she misses me and we can work things out.I told her awhile back i have someone since then stuck with nc and refuse to break it.Say i see her tomorrow do i act like i dont see her or let her be the one to come up to me cause im not sure how it will go down with my gf
boogieboy Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 You can avoid her for as long as you can, maybe be a lil extra affectionate with your gf so your ex might not want to approach you. But if she does approach you, you cant just run away. I suggest telling her in front of your gf that you are happy now, and you dont want to go down that road with her again. The ex will get the point, but she wont be happy, and your gf will like that you told the ex straight up. I also suggest telling you gf what might happen so she isnt surprised if anything bad should happen.

If she insists on talking, tell her that you're busy right now. If she says "Can we talk" say "maybe/no" but never yes. Odds are with your new g/f there she won't have the guts to come talk to you. Good job on NC. A lesson for all to learn. Once you implement it and mean it, your life will turn around before ya know it! Good work!
