Why would anyone care that much to do something like that? Unless I was murdered or something and they had to investigate...*shudder*

We tend to take a "screw em if they can't take a joke" attitude about the whole thing. We do pics, movies, you name it, if it ends up online, who cares? FWIW, except for one very small thumbnail that was unidentifiable unless you *KNEW* who it was to begin with, it has never happened, and the person who posted that thumbnail had reason to believe we were okay with it.

And what do I care where it ends up if my FACE isn't shown in ANY of them???

Because a vengeful ex, or a hacker, or twisted "friend", or thief or computer repairman who ends up with the videos could also find out your name quite easily and put it alongside the video. They could also easily find the names, addresses, and emails of your parents, friends, colleagues and email the vids along with your full name, details, and face pics to all of them. It's been done before to people, it can easily happen to you too.

Your current or future employer. Future dating or marital partners. Courts, authorities, educational establishments etc.

Listen if you want to go ahead with it, no one here is going to stop you.

But don't think that you can't be identified if you don't show your face... birthmarks, tattoos, any background items...

I think in this day and age, people need to be smart about what is put on computers. There is nothing wrong with being safe rather than sorry.

I agree with everyone else in that I personally wouldnt send a VIDEO... I have done some live stuff, and trust me, he wont object! ;)

But, if you truly know the guy, you trust him, and you love him... Do you honestly think he would be the type to post your video on the internet!? If theres even a shadow of a doubt. DONT DO IT

Even if you two did break up, thats a pretty dicey move. I can safely say that I know my man would never do that.

Hmm.. in my opinion it depends on the person and on the relationship. Personally I have done both (photos and videos) and I completely trust him. I just know even if we break up he wont use them. It's all about blind trust. But as I said, it depends on the person: that means it's just your choice =)

The general consensus seems to be no. I personally have done and received vids from an ex of mine. That was because we had complete trust in each other. The break up was mutual and we NOW remain friends. When we first broke up, I tried to forget about her. I instantly deleted all the videos and pics i had of her. The thought of posting them online or doing anything to hurt her never even crossed my mind.

If you were to go through with it, i suggest not having your face in it or having him send you videos of him as well so if worst comes to worst, he would be less inclined to post your vids up knowing you got him as well.
