I am 27 an I still deal with acne problem around my chin. Why? What should I do?

That location usually means it's hormonal. Go see your derm. They can give you some topical gels and maybe put you on some oral meds for a few months to clear it up.

Those little buggers are so annoying. Especially when we're not 16 anymore!

I'm 36 and still break out occasionally.

As if getting older isn't bad enough...

Hi,

Here is your perfect solution!

How To Reduce An Acne Problem

* You shouldnt squeeze, pick, scratch, or rub your skin as it makes the problem worse, and it might even cause scarring.

* Regularly shampoo your hair, and try to keep it off your face if possible - especially at night.

* Keep a food diary to work out if you are one of the few people whose acne gets worse if they eat certain things.

* Exercise regularly to get the old blood flowing, and make sure you get a wash as soon after as possible.

* Avoid unnecessarily touching your face.

* If possible, try to minimize your stress levels.

* Avoid getting sunburned.

* Change your wash cloth every day, as bacteria can grow on damp cloth.

* Wash your face twice a day with a gentle soap like Dove or Lever 2000.

* Always rinse really well with lots of water.

* Only wear makeup on special occasions, and then make sure you remove it completely.

* Granular facial scrub can make acne worse by aggravating the skin.

thanks!

I had pimples since I was a teen and it can be incredibly annoying and frustrating.

I set aside my pride two years ago and went to the dermatologist who prescribed me antibiotics and topical cream and wash. The antibiotics made me feel sick so I stopped taking those. The cream and sulfur wash has worked very well. I will always get pimples but they don't last as long with the trentinion cream and I am thankful I went to the doctor!

Good luck!

We all know that acne is caused by an over production and ingestion of hormones from foods in the body. Excess hormones will make your body produce excess subem, clog up your pores and you have your acne.

Dairy contains hormones, milk, butter, etc...

Excess masturbation will cause the body to produce excess testosterone(hormone) which will cause the body to produce excess sebum and clog up your pores.

Face acne is usually caused by milk(dairy) in my situation.

Cows milk is for the calf(baby cow), not humans. Us humans are causing ourselves so many problems.

The FDA says to eat 4+ servings of fruits and vegetables. They say it for a reason.

"Red apples", onions, etc will make your skin heal.

I've had acne everywhere that I can specifically tell you where each food will cause acne in the specific spot on the body.

Being acne free. Diet plays a big role in being secure with yourself.

Taking a multivitamin makes a huge difference.
