I know everyone goes through this at some point and I've been through it before. I just hate when it happens! I hate it when it seems like you work so hard for something only to come out with the short end of the stick. I have been stressed to the max this week studying for my teaching certification exam. I have been an emotional wreck worrying about it and ended up getting a migraine for three days which didn't help much with the studying. Today was the day it was all going to be over with. I tossed and turned all night, got up at 4 a.m. and went down to the testing center to take the four hour examination. All that hard work to get a printed out piece of paper that reads YOU FAIL! Well no use in holding the tears back because they just started coming. Oh the disappointment, humiliation and anger I felt at that very moment. I felt so inadequate! Students around me were finishing up and getting congratulated on their passing scores while all I was left with was that piece of paper in my hands that read YOU FAIL! I love how they put it in bold print as if to make sure got the point.

This is just me venting my frustrations right now. I was so looking forward to this weekend to just relax and finally take it easy but now I'm just plain humiliated! I think I will just go curl up and cry some more. It's pretty much all I feel like doing at the moment.

I'm so sorry! Just take good care of yourself and take the test again as soon as you can.

I failed my first driving test... talk about a low blow.

Stressing out probably affected you more than you realized. Don't pressure yourself too much and you'll be fine.

I'm sure you can take it again soon and pass it. If you can figure out the wrong answers you gave you might get a perfect score next time.

I feel your pain and without a doubt know where you're coming from. I hated when I got my results and they didn't come back the way I expected them. It makes you feel almost worthless and defeated and you just want to hide from the world. It always got me down and I used to spend weeks sometimes soaking over it.

However I learned that you can't let it defeat you, like that saying goes: "When the going gets tough, you get tougher". Its true though, you just have to dust yourself off and go back to the drawing board and find out what you failed at, what you're weaknesses are, why you failed and improve on those aspects and work harder at it.

You must face it head on because if you let it get to you then you won't recover from the slump. I'm not saying don't worry about it because its something you want and you must but go back to the drawing board and enjoy your weekend with friends, family or do something by yourself that you enjoy to make you feel better and regain the confidence to do what you must.

I'm sorry that happened but I am sure things will get better!
