I need to put on some wieght. In order to bulk up.

 

This is my issue, I have a tall build and have always found putting on wieght to be impossible.

 

I work full time for a road works company, doing soil testing, you may not think it but it is laboring work and im always on the move this dose not help at all in trying to put on wieght.

 

I was told after asking around for advice on this matter. A guy from work said my metabolism is the issue and in order to put on wieght on fast I have to stop eating for a week or so and just to drink milk and that is ment to destroy my metabolism. making it easy to put on wieght.

 

Is this true what he is saying and is it a often preformed thing by people?

 

I have 5 big meals a day, often high protien food. Theres not much else I can do to put on wieght except I have thought about these 50% carb/protien drinks but do they really work?

Ingesting more calories than you burn will result in weight gain.

 

NOT eating will cause you to lose weight.

 

I am tall as well, with a high metabolism, and I have gained weight through weight training, supplement drinks, and eating regularly. If I stop any of those, my weight will drop quickly.

This is your problem.

 

Your friend is sort-of right... not eating (so often) will help you put on weight.

You have a metabolic kinship with famine. Famine probably isn't going to strike your diet any time in the near future- but it did for millions of other people who died before you were born- so if you can step outside of your solipsistic little world, you can realize that the human body has functions that serve purposes beyond your goal of losing body fat.

 

The famine kinship works like this: if you go 4 hours or so without eating anything any time you're awake, your metabolism enters famine storage mode as a survival mechanism. It seems fairly logical too- if the food around you is abundant, why is it not being eaten? Your metabolism isn't going to routinely hop out of your insides and take a peak at the food-availability status: "all right... just making sure- tricky bastard." If you don't feed your body, it doesn't know there's food available. That's how it works. That's the kinship. So when you have these huge gaps between meals, your body thinks there's a famine coming.

 

 

So, change your 5 meals, to 2-3 big meals a day. Eat plenty of carbs.

Steroids and HGH are the only way to go if you want to bulk up and can't do it naturally. I mean, just look at the modern home run hitter.
