Wonderlandless Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Its been almost a year since we broke up (it was a clean, easy break due to bad timing and stuff, but it still really hurt) and I hadn't really thought about him in awhile. I wasn't expecting to see his best friend or worse recognize me. I pretended I didn't see him so he didn't talk to me, but he pointed me out to a group of people I didn't know that he was sitting with. My paranoia says that he said something bad about me (since I still feel like I did something wrong to cause us to split even though I know the problem was time conflicts and opportunities to further himself) when it probably isn't true. I've been an absolute retarded mess and even googled his facebook page (something I haven't done in almost a year!), but there wasn't anything on it, really. Seriously, guys, tell me I'm just being stupid and I'll feel better.
Ronni_W Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 You WILL feel better! Maybe he really didn't recognize you, and was just pointing at you saying, "Hey group, look at THAT hot babe over there!" Or. Maybe he did recognize you and said, "Hey group, see that hot babe over there? My buddy used to date her but it didn't work out for them. Too sad, really." Time to get back in the saddle and just start living and feeling how you want to live and feel, yes?
kizik Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I am sure they were not saying anything rude, but if they were, you don't need to worry about it, because you know yourself!
Author Wonderlandless Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 Thanks guys, I needed that. I feel 100% better!
