Being that the divorce rate is 50%, how many years are these people usually together when they decide they don't belong together.

It could be 2 months or any amount of time given,each marriage is based differently so no one could really tell you this.

Each relationship is different. Some marriages thrive during the busy child rearing phase only to peter out once the kids leave the nest. "Empty nest" syndrome sometimes co-exists with an "empty marriage" syndrome.

 

It happens.
