bark Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Each relationship is different. Some marriages thrive during the busy child rearing phase only to peter out once the kids leave the nest. "Empty nest" syndrome sometimes co-exists with an "empty marriage" syndrome. It happens.
