This may have been a thread before but I have seen the breast post and thought why not. So I have hair on my chest my girl friend said I am the first guy shes dated with hair. We talked about me getting it waxed and she says she would not ask me to go through that. So the question is two-fold, Do you think I should do it (i am willing) and do you like hair or not? just curious:confused:

Hmmm ... Body hair. Well, chest hair can be ... Hmmm. I've been with my fair share of guys with and without. I can tell you I don't prefer it either way. It's just something that's there and there's nothing you can or can't do about it.

But are you so hairy you are mistaken for King Kong? In that case, you might want to consider. As for your new gf asking for you to wax it ... Well it's your chest. Do it for you, not her.

Personally it makes no difference to me how hairy a man is.

Maybe you should get a wax, because it does get a bit difficult trying to kiss someone's chest when it's hairy.

Personally, I used to have a problem with extreme chest hair. I can't even stand a messy beard and mustache. But the guy I'm seeing now, he grows out his beard sometimes, and I find it very sexy. He isn't very hairy, with just a few strands on the pecs and stomach area. I'm alright with it, but sometimes I can't help but wonder whether I should give him a wax myself. We had even joked about doing something like the 40 year old virgin.

I should rephrase my first answer - body hair, no, but FACIAL hair - YES! Please be as clean shaven as possible, because feeling the beard scratch is bad!

And just remember, whether you shave or wax below the neck - IT GROWS BACK AND IT WILL ITCH!

Yup I maintain a clean shaven face and if I remember correctly I am close to amount of hair on the 40 year-old virgin. True it will grow back and it will itch but the thought that she would be more inclinded to kiss my chest is what put the thought of actually doing it in my head

honey, playgrounds are SUPPOSED to have grass on them ... men who have shaved bodies remind me of hairless baby rodents. It's ugly. With a capital U.G.

the good Lord gave you hair for a reason. She'll learn to live with it. Meanwhile learn to love your body for what it is. Let the namby-pamby boys be hairless ~ hair is the hallmark of manhood.

Never been with a hairless guy so don't know if I would like it or not. Hair is just fine.

The guy I'm with now has a lot of chest hair, going down to his belly - and let me tell you, it is sexy, sexy, sexy to me. He trims up below, but other than that... mmmmmmmm.

It depends on the woman, I guess. I find the shaved or waxed look to be creepy.

I like chest hair on a man. I think the male models who are all shiny and hairless look....odd. Pubescent with old faces.

I'm not wild about back hair, though! But the odd hairs back there don't bother me, either - I just don't like big patches of it.

I have done a lot of nipple sucking and kissing on hairy chests; hair there is no more a problem then a woman's pubic hair for giving her oral sex. Oral sex has been around for hundreds/thousands of years, way before the current trend of having shaved and waxed kitty cats.

Tom Selleck. Masculine, timeless. Need I say more?

The hairless thing is something that seems to have emerged progressively over the last ten years or so. I want a man to be a man not to be endrogenous.

Actually it was all the rage in Rome in the 60's BC

I don't like overly hairy men but I also don't like those that shave or wax. Chest stubble is not arousing. Either you're naturally hairless or you aren't.

And yes I know women are expected to remove hair (I sure as hell hope no woman has chest stubble) but whatever. It's gross on women.

I like hair on male's chest and it is very pleasant to touch and stroke.

When I am with a chest shaved man I have a sense of being with a boy who is too young to have sex with me.

As for oral sex I think it is better to shave your .... down.

I say leave it alone unless your chest is really extremely hairy, in which case I don't see why some trimming wouldn't do the job (no waxing, please!) While I wouldnt' exactly say I'm a fan of hairiness, a few strands would actually be a turn on, whereas a whole carpet would be better slightly groomed.

I trim the hair on my chest, stomach, legs and pubes with my handy dandy Norelco Bodygroom.

I don't shave the hair all the way off, just leave enough of it on to be manly but not bushy.

Chest hair and facial hair a definite yes in my book!

Im not putting any kind of blade to my nads, whether electric or manual

I do use scissors on the pubes though

:lmao::lmao::lmao: just had an image of someone trying to wax my tabby and her giving her famous bitchy-cat look :laugh::laugh:

My date Saturday said she loved my beard, I keep it trimmed using a number 1. Funny though, I can grow a full beard in a week, but have very little chest hair...a lot more on my stomach...ah well, it is what it is.

My chest hair doesn't bother me so much, as my stomach hair. Take a look at a picture of Pierce Brosnan without his shirt on, and tell me if that is too hairy. I might look into getting some laser hair removal done.

My last bf was relatively hairless from the waist up, and I loved it. I could feel his muscles a lot better that way. I wouldn't expect a guy to wax if he were hairy, but some trimming and basic maintenance for a lot of hair would be appreciated.

I like the hair. Most guys IRL with a hairless chest look like little boys. It's usually only models and actors in popular media with hairless chests that actually have some muscle to even out the look. If the guy has an average chest and no hair...weird. But then again, I'm not really for extremes. If the guy looks like he's wearing a sweater, then it's time to do some grooming.

I don't see a problem with the amount Pierce has going.

well did your gf say she had a problem with it? i know you two discussed it, and she said she'd never ask: is it only cuz she's being polite.

honestly- i hated hairy chests before i was with a guy that had one. and then i grew to love it, playing with the hair on his chest was fun. i also like bare too- but really watevers natural. I hated it when i was with guys that shaved their chest and felt the stubble. Also- it made me feel like they were insecure about their bodies.

I'd say- if she wants you to wax it, try it once and see how you both like it. Then if YOU decided not to do it again- im sure she'll end up liking the hair eventually.
