Loxx Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Today is my 2nd day using the program. I am in good shape, however i could only do 1 - 2 pull ups which i was quite surprised. Chest and back really killed me. My back was sore from the pull ups im sure, but my chest felt like i had even worked it. Again im in good shape i work out regularly, but i am wondering if this program will help bulk up some while loosing the extra fat, or is this primarly a cutting program.
Template Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Like any workout regimen, the key is consistency. However, don't forget you also have to be consistent in good eating habit. A proper diet and healthy diet is 90% of you results. That being said, of the 10 or so people that done p90x, it did help help them cut down a bit.
xpaperxcutx Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I've seen alot of results from Beachbody that P90 does bulk a person up, depending on how intense you take the program. I use turbo jam which is a great cardio program in my opinion and it also has a light strength training segment that really helps make me lean.
NopeNah Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Im on day 5 and damn does it hurt! I also am in "decent" shape. I actually dropped from 170 down to 157 during my breakup. So, I too am trying to bulk up on the program..

So, I too am trying to bulk up on the program.. Hey Praying, How is it going for you? I dumped the program as i was loosing weight and cutting but bulking just wasn't happening. I finally broke down and joined a gym and have been trying to instill some of the ideas and techniques from the program into my weight training and i am blowing up like crazy. You may want to try it also.
