Iggsy Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hi all, I met this girl through some friends and we emailed for a few days then asked her out for some drinks. She picked a day but then it was rescheduled for a week later. I sent her a pretty cool email about something personal and she now has a lot of smilies and exclamation marks in her messages. And at the same time she suggested an earlier day for the drinks. We have a lot in common and not just on the surface level. So I want to make sure she sees it as a date. Can I say 'awesome x time on y day. It's a date '? I'm just not sure on the whole 'its a date', is that seen as a good thing? Or should I just flirt with her on the day and see how she reacts? Thanks
Bejita463 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 It seems to me like you both know what this is, regardless of what you choose to call it.
Scottdmw Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Act like it's a date and she will get the idea. I wouldn't feel the need to label it, in fact it might be seen as a sign of insecurity. Just meet her and flirt with her. Try to initiate some minor physical contact. She'll get the idea, and either go along or not. Scott
