Mycroft Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I was just reading another thread and as I've seen in many others some sort of fight or issue has been brought up because people talked about their past relationships. Usually one person pushes the other for info then gets mad or jealous. I'm wondering why people would even want to know. Is there ANY good that can come from discussing past relationships especially the sex/intimacy involved?
BCCA Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 There are many benefits to hearing about someone past relationships, but this is info that should generally be given willingly. If you are a very sexual person, it might be good to know that the person youre dating is very reserved, or if they've cheated, treated people badly, or don't care about what they did to their ex. Past behavior is generally a pretty good indicator of future behavior. I don't think its good to say 'my ex and I used to do this, wanna try?' because its unnecesary to mention the part about your ex.
