fabulous_chk Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm kind of glad I'm posting in this forum and not at coping forum where I usually hang out lol! Here's the problem. My friend and I have been clubbing a lot and she met this third year resident doctor named Gabriel. They met each other first, danced, exchanged numbers, etc. She tried to hook me up to his gorgeous friend, who I danced with but immediately avoided after finding out that he's Greek (I was just dumped by Greek ex-bf 6 weeks ago - he cheated on me - we dated for 4 years). I liked Gabriel but kept my distance since my friend likes him as well. She has a BF but likes to flirt a lot. Gabriel seems to be sending mixed signals and I can tell he was comparing me and my friend. We met him again and this time he brought another friend who flirted with me outrageously and I flirted back as well. Gabriel was observing us, even noted my body language...He asked me where I lived and he had a little glint in his eye when he found out we're neighbors. I smiled at that. I had told my friend that I like Gabriel....and she's willing to give him up since she's just amusing herself. She even offered to give me his number...but I hesitate. I practically flirted with 2 of his friends when it's him I really want. Should I make a move?

Author fabulous_chk Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 Ah, he kind of got turned off - my friend was drunk and saying a lot of crazy stuff. I doubt that he'd contact her again. However, I do have his friend's number, the one I flirted with heavily. I do not know if I'll see them again. I'd been obsessing, which is good I guess instead of thinking about my ex. He looks like Dr. Chase from "House." I hope I see him again and he talks with me at least. He is the very first person I've met that I think is actually better than my ex.
