missmich Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 So how long does the rebound person last with the person they are dating? A few dates or a few months? I've been dating this guy for just over a month now and it's great, but I know he's still healing from a serious break up back in December. When I asked if he was over her and if there was a posibility of them getting back together he said no and I believe him,but am still trying to take it slow and not get to attached. I later told him I was worried about being the rebound girl and he told me that I was more then that and if I was just a rebound that it would have ended a long time ago. So how long does the typical rebound person last for?
hotgelato Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 depends. my friend's been with a rebound guy for over a year. she says she loves the guy but still loves the ex after all this time. depends on the person i guess.
Author missmich Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 What do you mean "forget about rebound"?
Sam Spade Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 What do you mean "forget about rebound"? The "rebound" concept is one of the biggest scams ever, and one of the most logically inconsistent and absurd views on relationships. Everybody has exes, and therefore, everybody is in 'rebound' . By this logic, once a relationship is terminated, nobody will ever have another relationship ever again, because the next relaitonship will be a rebound, and those of course never succeed .
