tinklebell Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Sandals are a good idea for the season anyway. It's nice for a day event also. As a female, I also don't like towering over my guys. I like to feel protected and I like to let them have their manliness.
IceWind Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 As a female, I also don't like towering over my guys. I like to feel protected and I like to let them have their manliness. I rest my case My girlfriend LOVES that I stand about half a foot taller then her so she can bury her head into my chest and shoulders, it really turns her on.
Author xpaperxcutx Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 I just woke up, and I feel like C.R.A.P. I forgot it was going to rain today, and outside is just foggy and wet. I feel sick ( my stomach wouldn't stop making this weird growling noises) and I think I'm growing a zit on my nose... I have 6 more hours until I meet artist guy, and I just want to go back to sleep. I don't want to sabotage this date at all, but nature is against me. I feel like calling him to cancel.

Jersey Shortie Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Hey, if it doesn't pan out, you can still enjoy the muesum. I love going to the muesum by myself. As for shoes, yeah you might not want to pick a pair that will make you taller then him. Considering that it is a rainy day today, and that you will be walking around, maybe a cute pair of ballet flats? I am personally not a fan of capri pants so I would also suggest another cute casusal skirt option or a cute causal dress option.

I feel like calling him to cancel. LOL! What? Oh stop fretting! Just go out on your date and be yoursef. You want to know a secret? He probably will like you a lot better if you show up looking casual and relaxed, then if it shows you've spent a lot of time prepping for this date, and you're all nervous and trying to impress. Just be yourself and have fun!

You're going to spend a pleasant afternoon at the museum in company of a charming artsy guy. Just go in telling yourself all you want to do is get to know him more.

I agree completely! In addition, in all honesty, black 4" open-toed heels are a sort of "f*ck me heels." I'd save those for later on when you've developed a relationship of sorts and that sort of sexual playfulness is more appropriate. You can't control how you're perceived, but you can control how you're presented. Relax, smile, and enjoy yourself.
You'reasian Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Sounds like the kind of guy that'll man up and defend the woman. Which of you ladies was complaining about dating guys that won't man up? I'm teasing - I'm sure the date will go well and he'll probably be a gentleman. Good luck.
