I was just wondering if you all could help me out. What is it when a person is one way one minute and the next they are either fine or angry/sad and do not know why or what caused/triggered them to act that way? When I say "minute" I don't really mean within a minutes time, but close enough. Be fine for awhile then act totally different that before. And that it happens quite frequently.

Is that like a bi-polar episode or multiple personalities? Or possibly something else?

It could be bipolar disorder or depression. The symptoms probably fit a whole host of 'disorders'. Or it could be a person that is incredibly stressed or has incredibly conflicting emotions and thoughts that they are not communicating or are repressing and so they are coming out in all kinds of crazy ways. They are happy, then whatevers bothering them hits them and they feel emotional, then angry, then guilty, then calm, then happy, then irritable, then sad, etc. It doesn't need to be a mental health concern necessarily. I would wonder what was going on in the individuals life...
