I got some shocking news last night my uncles been sick in the hospital he hasn't been well for years now.

But something happed a week back or so that landed him back in the hospital.

Well when I rang home to see how every one was my mom told me that he coded they managed to bring him back but still its a shock.

We have a small family so we have all been fairly close in the past getting together for holidays and over all good memories.

I guess what gets me is these are the people who have always been there there like pillars in your life.

And now there getting older and getting sick it really makes one step back and take things into perspective.

Things like this concrete the fact your not a kid anymore for sure and things are changeing...

SpanksTheMonkey, I truly feel for you. My father has recently been unwell, and he is in his eighties.... it was a worry, because he has always been so dependable, and he is in Italy, while I am here working in London.

It is a helpless feeling, and you think "if I was there it would make things better" but this is not true.

if someone is unwell, they will be unwell with you there or not there....

But you just want to be close...

I hope your uncle is well and recovering... keep in touch with people you love today.

tomorrow, may not be possible....

I wish you well and peace of mind.
