eddpad Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I'll get right to it. This girl and I recently just started talking last February after two years had gone by without even saying hi to each other. We had romantic feelings for each other before, but because of bad timing, and some nasty fights in the end, we could never realize our love, and thus stopped talking to each other. Now, fast forward, we recently started talking again, and the feelings are still there. We have great conversations, and still enjoy each others company. I live in San Fran, and she is in Miami. She has visited me once in March, and is here for two weeks in April/May. Because of school, she will not be able to move here until August. This means we have 4 months without each other, and I guess I just feel very anxious about that. There are very strong feelings there for the two of us, and I just feel nervous about what could happen in the next 4 months. Anyone have any thoughts on what I can do to stop feeling this way?
KikiW Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk. Text, skype, call, whatever. Talk a lot. Talk about everything. Talk about what you both want out of life, what you like to do in the evenings, your work ethics, your views on family, about who your friends are and why you like hanging out with them. What's your favorite restaurant and why? What kind of movies do you like and have you seen anything new? Try not to focus on the time between now and August, the time will go by faster than you think. Just use this time to really get to know each other even better

I live in Kansas and my girl lives in Oregon. We text all day and talk on the phone as free minutes allow (except for my lunch hour everyday). Its constant. With all of this communication, we know each other probably better than we would have if we lived in the same place. It has been so much fun learning about each other, knowing what we are doing all of the time every day and sharing thoughts and dreams. You keep doing these things that Kiki and I are talking about then August will be here before you know it.
