I have alot of 23-26 year old woman find me attractive, however i am looking for more maturity. Im guessing i look around 26, im in very good shape but am actually 34, divorced with a child. I know there are alot of mature mid 20s but i feel like there is a huge personal growth time b/w 20-30s and do not want the drama that comes along with that.

And if they have no desire to date a younger man - perhaps for the same reasons you don't want to date a younger woman - then they pass you over because they think you are younger because you look younger.

Has this been a proven issue for you so far in dating, meaning have you had examples of where this got in the way? Or are you just looking at things that could be possibly stunting you from meeting the types of women you want to meet and you are guessing this might be an issue?

I agree with this. Women usually think I am younger than I am. I get more attention from women younger than me than I do from women my own age, and I assume that this is the reason why.
carhill Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 OP, if women your age are dismissing you because of your looks (looking younger), count yourself lucky that you didn't get involved with such superficial women to begin with. Since you approach women, your demeanor will indicate your age and maturity level. If they miss those signals, then they aren't worth your time anyway. Compatibility
Trialbyfire Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 If you dress like a 26 year-old, erroneous assumptions can easily be made. A 34 year old man tends to approach women in a different way than someone much younger. There's usually less brashness and more natural confidence.

Hum... not at all sweetie.. it is verrrry attractive to women... even much older women..
