alphamale Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Yea so this Lisa woman turned out to be a weirdo. Here's the backstory on the 1st date: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t186351/ We went out last night on our 2nd date (or so I thought) to a cocktail party. We were all dressed up and stuff. She was acting weird and not saying much before she got hammered. After she was drunk I introduced her to another couple as "my date Lisa" and she said to them "oh we're just friends hanging out" Then we had the discussion about whats going on. She said she has lots of male "friends" and that we were out as "friends". I told her my understanding was we were on a date. I also told her i don't do the friends thing with women. She went off on me saying all i want is a piece of ass and that men and women can be friends. I told her most of her male friends probalby want a relationship with her and she said that is not the case. It wasn't a loud/heated argument but it was not a nice one either. Once again the two personalities showed up, the sober one and the drunk one. Weird! So I grabbed my keys around 11pm and split. Left here there without even telling her i'm leaving.
jerbear Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I like what you have done by leaving. Amazing the differences between drunk and sober personalities. BTW: for a moment there I thought she bit you.
TaraMaiden Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 ...so we have no congratulations for wedding bells then....? _/l\_
sotired Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 What a weirdo. Least you didn't waste any more time before figuring out she was nuts.
Author alphamale Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 and i forgot to tell you about the part where she said to my face: "oh, i have lots of male friends, i could have gone out with nick or mike or john tonight instead of you..."
marlena Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 "oh, i have lots of male friends, i could have gone out with nick or mike or john tonight instead of you..." This would have been enough for me to take off and dump her there as well.
Author alphamale Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 This would have been enough for me to take off and dump her there as well. indeed, that was the final straw.... i knew something was up with this woman
marlena Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 indeed, that was the final straw.... Yes, it was tactless, insulting and rude. Alpha, think twice about seeing her again.
a4a Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 oh man Alpha! You did right with exception of not borrowing $20 from her before ditchin' the biotch. -of course with no intentions of paying it back!
Mahatma Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 What a weirdo. I bet Mike and John think the same...
Jake Barnes Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 When you first start dating someone it's so tricky, because you can get friendzoned in a nano-second without your knowing it Sorry to hear that ALpha. I think you did the right thing
sotired Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 What is wrong with these women who want all of this "platonic" male attention? When I was single I kept my male friends at arms length because I didn't want them to get the wrong idea. Why invite that kind of confusion? Glad you left her there too. What a rude b*tch.
Art_Critic Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 You did right with exception of not borrowing $20 from her before ditchin' the biotch. -of course with no intentions of paying it back! That would have brought out the 3rd personality...... Alpha... did you try anything on the first date.. at the very least a kiss ?... My rules say you have to kiss on the first date in order to go on a second.. I have always used that rule to knock out the friends only type of women..
Land Shark Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Did you at least get her naked before you left?
Jake Barnes Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Did you at least get her naked before you left? he sould have done that and then grabbed his bean dip on the way out
Jake Barnes Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Alpha hasn't been back on this thread for a while Do you think he's lying on the couch crying?
Land Shark Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Alpha hasn't been back on this thread for a while Do you think he's lying on the couch crying? Lisa probably showed up at his door offering a truce and in a much more compliant mood. Based on what I've read so far, I not ready to write her off as a psycho. She could just have a bad attitude from getting jerked around a lot. Sometimes that can be adjusted.
westernxer Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Alpha hasn't been back on this thread for a while Do you think he's lying on the couch crying? I doubt it. He's got too much experience dealing with psychotic/hormonally imbalanced females trapped in large cities. LOL
jerbear Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 OR he might be enjoying her "posse" (play on word sounds)
allina Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 OR he might be enjoying her "posse" (play on word sounds) Nah, there's probably just a line at McDonalds, he'll be back shortly.
