Funny how most women know you're not interested fairly quickly...

Its funny how when women approach men at a bar or singles event (or wherever) they know within a minute or two if the guy's interested or not.

 

I'm going to a lot of singles mixers and dinners here in chicago and have been approached by a number of women (most of them I wasn't attracted to). The single women here are much more assertive probably cause more of them are professionals.

 

Anyways, they always know real quick whether to stick around or not. Most women are very in tune with body language and the other subjective stuff that involves attraction.

 

The same cannot be said for men.

I can tell you that I'm rarely surprised. Not to be confused with elated or disheartened, depending on what I sense. This is why I've posted about sensing very few genuine mutual attractions over the years but meeting and enjoying many friendly and interesting women. They've been a real asset to my life

 

I generally don't get "approached" by women and, when that has happened, the impetus has been a shared interest and invariably the woman is married/LTR so analysis of my body language is probably a moot point for her, or, at best, an analysis for a possible ego boost

usually spot on unless i've been drinking....booze tends to overshadow reason and logic not to mention the senses

I don't think it's the men's fault though that they can't always determine interest. Women are a lot less transparent..sometimes cagier or sometimes more diplomatic..however you want to spin it.

I agree Alpha. A women can tell pretty quickly and if you're not they don't stick around to be your friend.

Men should get on the same page.

I'm the opposite, I generally only make an effort with a woman if I am confident she is interested in me. If I approach and don't get strong indication of interest, I'll move on quickly. I'm not saying I am good at noticing this, and I probably missed out on a lot of opportunities this way, but it's definitely possible to tell when some women are interested in you, and I don't like to waste time on someone who isn't keen and showing it.
