There's a guy I've been spending time with. We get along great. Go out together, stay in together and like each other. We talk about everything and he asks a lot of questions. There's an attraction and there is some affection (hugging and stuff.)

But, we both are a bit closed off due to romantic disappointments and tend to focus on our work.

I could be open to more and wonder if guys generally spend the time with girls this way if they just want friendship. Maybe he's like this with everyone??

There is a chance that he could want to be more than friends but if you dont ask him you will never know. I have had friends like that before and ive dropped little hints that ive liked them and they have let me know they want to just be friends and all has been fine.

If you like him, just let him know. Drop little hints by smiling at him a lot and getting close to him every chance that you have and also when you are talking touch his arm and stuff. He may get the hint this way.

If not just ask him if you like him, if he is a good friend and does not want more he will be nice about it and stay as your friend. If he is not then he was not worth it and there are plenty more men out there.

Usually if a guy spends lots of time with you he likes you more than a friend.
