For the OP....I'm sure you care for her...BUT if you do not want a life like this to continue on, then you'll need to break free from her.

It seems you can give her an inch and she takes a mile. How many more times are you planning on giving her the benefit of the doubt that she'll change her ways, until you see, that it just looks like its not happening?

You can't keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

I went through a stage like this when I was younger. I had developed very well in my teens and always got a big reaction out of guys. My physical appearance was always what drew them. When I'd meet their friends, it was not so much about the guy wanting their friends to find out how funny, smart, or cool I was. It was just so they could see how HOT I was. I got a very real sense that my physical ppearance was all that mattered to the guys.

I'd see my friends that were not considered as good looking and they had BFs too despite this. To me, that meant the BF liked them for more than just their face or body.

I'd act out; be a big bitch to see if they would put up with it. The first time I did, when BF and I were making up after a fight, he actually said...

"If you weren't so hot, I'd have broke up with you."

Yeah, THAT helped matters! I was way worse after that until even I couldn't stomach my behavior and dumped him.

Has this happened Merchant?

When they sometimes treat you with disrespect? How do you address it?

I was at the gym and my GF called my phone six times. I leave my phone in my car because I don't like carrying alot of stuff with me in the gym due to alot of theft that takes place there. So I try and carry as little as possible. I get back to my car and I call her. She automatically just goes on the offensive:

"WHERE WERE YOU?! I CALLED YOU SIX TIMES?! yadda yadda yadda.." I reply I know I saw "OH SO YOU HAD YOUR PHONE ON YOU AND YOU DIDN'T REPLY?!" ugh, so I explained to her that I left my phone in the car and the reasons why.

I then proceed to tell her that I'm going to be going to my homeboy's crib and that I'll call her when I'm on my way back home. All I get for a reply is a *click*. She hung up on me.

Why are you still with her?
