redant Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I'm not feeling in love, but in like. Love to me is long-term and I don't want to fall. Is that bad? My so in the first month said I love you once well txtd. I said no you don't. He has never repeated it. I wonder if I stifled him? I did not want to get so caught up "in love" and really still do not. I'm looking for something long term and don't feel I should have to be so in love or that this person should earn my trust and love. I've given it so freely and that was a mistake. Is this attitude bad? I'm also debating on whether I should date others, although I enjoy my so. But I am ready to settle down with someone and I don't think he is in the same frame of mind. I can give it more time, but is it ok to look around?
Author redant Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 We do have a strong bond and I care for him alot!
Author redant Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 I'm reluctant to and maybe I do love him but I'm in denial!!
bluechocolate Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I can give it more time, but is it ok to look around? Yes, of course it is - with his consent.
Bejita463 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 My so in the first month said I love you once well txtd. I said no you don't. He has never repeated it. That is a pretty brutal reaction right there. I'd comment on the rest, but I don't think I understand what you are trying to say. Sorry.
Author redant Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 I thought it was a tough reaction, but how can someone truely love in a few weeks. I guess I have heard it before, but it's not Love imo.
