The problem is I want children and he doesn't know if he wants them.(he says probably not) Is there a way to change his mind? Is there something I am missing or what? He doesn't care to be around kids, is he scared of them or something?
befuddled1 Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 Well judging by the info in your profile, you're 18 years old. I'm assuming he's around the same age. It's totally understandable that an 18 yr old guy is doubtful that he wants kids...hell, he's not far from being a kid himself. I'd venture to guess that most 18 yr old guys have more realistic things to think about...like getting an education, or a trade, or a career/future.....or even just figuring out what they want to do in life.....not thoughts about being tied down with kids, not at that age. Does that mean he'll never want kids? Of course not. He very likely will....one day, when he's old enough........ Just let him be, he's young. You both are.
