I'm not so used to dating anymore and need some advice. I'm used to being in a relationship or being single, but not so much dating so not to sure what to do now that I've met someone who wants to take it slow and date.

It's now been close to 4 weeks since meeting this great guy on-line. We both have really intense feelings for each other and are very attracted to each other. Because he's been hurt before not that long ago (December) he wants to take it slow...well slow things down I should say since we moved pretty fast to begin with. He isn't ready for a "relationship" yet and I'm not wanting to pressure him to label us as boyfriend/girlfriend even though I know neither of us is seeing anyone else.

We've agreed not to see each other each day like we did before and today was the first day we saw each other since Wednesday. Our plan that we'd made was to have a nice breakfast made at my place then an art gallery. Instead we ended up having brunch out,art gallery, nice drive, hanging out at my place, dinner out and a movie. Spending more time together today was all his idea that I liked and went along with b/c I enjoy spending time with him. This was the 2nd time that we've had an "all day date".

Sometimes during the times we were in the car the music was up loud (he turned it loud) and we couldn't talk. I didn't know what to say either. I'm a little worried that's a sign he's losing interest. Maybe I'm just being paranoid though.

We've all ready been sleeping together and I think it may be a good idea to put that on hold for a little while as well. Though I don't think what we have is based on sex since we spend most of our time together not having sex but actually going out and doing things.

Do you think he may be losing interest b/c there wasn't much talking tonight while in the car? How can I keep the interest there and take it slow at the same time?

I think you're reading into this far too much. The clearly is into you, for god's sakes, he spent all day with you, and it was his idea! Believe it or not you don't need to fill every millisecond you are together with words, sometimes it's good to just enjoy each other's company in silence, or in this case, the music.

Put the sex genie back in the bottle and drive him away for sure :)

With conversation, strive for quality over quantity. Comfortable silence (it's kind of a peaceful, fulfilling thing when you're with someone you love) can be a good thing.

Patience and support and asking for what you want all go along with intimacy. Soon, the memories of the past pain will be distant and the joy of the present will be all he focuses on. It's in your power :)
