is it true that the one who broke your heart is the only one who can unbreak it????

i was just wondering everyones experiences of having their heart broken by someone they love, did you manage to heal and forget them completely???

Eventually ,yes. I also look back on some and realize he wasn't the one for me anyway. I have managed to "forget" some but I'll never forget my 1st love, for example. The break up was probably the hardest one for me to date. I was only 16 so of course healing happened with time and experience. But some only really heal as much they have to, and go through life in other relationships while deep down the one was still really sew n sew. I don't see anything wrong with that if they don't act upon it. But it can also be pretty unfair for future prospects. I have definitely played the "compare" game and that's when I wonder if "healing" has really happened....I think that's natural in the short-term, but if you do this 20 years post-break up, ouch.
