Cowboy2theCore Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Maybe someone can give me advice. This past friday I went out. I walked up to this girl and started talking to her. She was drop dead gorgeous in my eyes. We talked a little. She think she asked me what I do for a living and I told her that I am military and she asked me if I work on base and I told her I did. She said that some people she lives by work on base and that she lives about an hour away. I told her that is a long way to drive to work and she said that it wasn't that far. So i figured she was trying to say that she doesn't live to far from me. Well out of the blue she asked me for my number and i gave it to her. I don't know why but I told her that I will not be going out much anymore. She started to put her phone in her pocket and I asked her if she wanted my number. I gave her my number and a couple of minutes later I asked her for hers. I told her that I like to know who it is when they call because if i don't know the number then I don't answer. Well I got her number and she walked away to talk to a friend i believe. A couple of minutes later I asked her to dance. She told me that she can't because some guy just asked her and she turned him down and didn't want to dance with me right after she did that. Well the night was about close to being over and i went and used the rest room. After I got back the last song was about to play and I asked her one more time and she went out on the dance floor and danced (the song was by her favorite artist which she told me who it was prior to the song playing). We talked while we danced and then I thanked her for the dance and she went her way and I went mine after the night was over. The next day I had to work and was thinking all day if I should call her in 3 days or when. Well I read up online and most everything I read said the day after. Well I got the courage up and called her. She didn't answer but her voice mail came on. It was her and so i decided to leave a message (read it online that leaving a message would be the best thing to do). While I was leaving the message I could tell my voice was shaking a little. Normally I am not nervous but for some reason I was. I told her (This is "my name" and I was just calling to see what you are up to. Well give me a call back later. Take it easy, bye.) I called her around 7:20 P.M. and well she didn't call back. It has almost been 24 hours and still no call. I was wondering how long I should wait to call her or if I should just give up on calling or just text her. Normally I don't ask advice but when you get a girls number that looks as beautiful as she was then you don't want to mess it up. All of this never really happened to me before and I was just wondering about the best way to go about this. Most the time girls don't ask for my number and then I get theirs. Also just to make the note I was drunk that night. Not totally drunk but just a little. Just want the best advice. I don't want to scare her and look to desprite. Any type of advice would be great. lance.dark Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 If you left a message less than a day ago, just wait. Pretend like you don't care. She may be playing games with you and waiting a bit to call you. I'd give it another two days then send a friendly text saying "you didn't answer my message, what's up?"
fishtaco Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Go hit on another girl while you wait for this one to return your call. If she replies, great, now you have two girls to choose from. If not, well, you already have another girl, so who cares.
