PG Love Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I have been with my current BF for over a year and we are great for eachother and I love him dearly. The problem is I was was with another guy 11 years ago and it we had to break it off due to means beyond our control. I've always known that if it were meant to be then it would be. So 10 years passed with not contact although we each tried and then finally we got back in contact. I was terribly torn between the past love and the present love. I finally decided to stay with my now BF. I still communicated off and on with the other guy and still find myself sending him random texts and e-mails, all of which go unaswered now. He quit communicating with me after I told him my current BF would completely cut me out of his life if he knew I was contacting the other guy. We live so far apart, so it's not like I could just hop in my car and go see him, I'll probably never "see" him again, but I just can't seem to let go after finding him again after so many years. How do I let him go?
jellytots Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 what you have now is real, it is the present, your current bf loves you the person you are now, the other guy well are you the same person you were 10 years ago. it always great think of the past in a great way. If ye got together it wouldn't be the same as before you could end up losing a great current bf. Belive me we all have one of these past bf that we think about it really common. you can still have a few day dreams about it.
