MeaganRaye Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Does anyone else have a problem finding a balance where you like your partner as much as they like you? I always end up with a guy who likes me WAAAY more than I like him. or I'll like a guy WAAY more than he likes me. Rarely do I find a connection where we both are intensely attracted to one another and want the same thing. Are these type of unions rare or something? Am I asking for too much? Should I just find a guy that likes me a lot more and just deal with it because life is too short and you can't get everything you want. I'm starting to feel this way.
JP1409 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I think I can honestly say I'm someone who's in one of those "unions". We both love each other equally and are truly truly happy. It does happen! A lot of it may come down to luck, such as finding someone who you just click with straight away (which is what I feel happened in my case). I also believe that love is something that finds you when you're least expecting it: at the time I met my girlfriend I wasn't interested in being in a relationship but it happened and now I'm happier than I've ever been. By no means feel like you have to live with anything less than perfect in your relationship, you shouldn't have to feel like you're putting in more effort than your partner, it's hopefully just a matter of time before you find a guy who would do anything for you. Kaii Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I feel like I am in those types of relationships too, the ones where either I or he is WAYYY more into me than I am into them. It sucks. I feel I am in that type of relationship right now. I am completely goo goo for my bf and he is more reserved. I feel that I put more effort into loving him than he does for me. It makes me feel sad
