vince1128 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I cant figure this girl out. She broke up with her bf of 2 years about 2 weeks ago and weve started hanging out. He cheated on her and she completely resents him for it. Weve hung out a few times watched movies, went running, but havent kissed yet. Were all over eachother and she loves playing with my ears, etc... but i cant kiss close her. Everytime the setting is right it doesnt happen. tonight she came over to watch a movie and at the end of the night i hugged her and then kinda half leaned in and both our foreheads were touching but she was looking down so I took the hint not to. Am I blind?? She doesnt really seem shy at all, were always touchy feely but the head down kinda seems to me like she doesnt want it. We planned a camping trip this weekend and I wanna escalate to kissing before then so i can be "more progressive" on the trip. Does she want to be kissed?
colosseum Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I don't know how much you've been really hanging out with her, but if I were you I might just say to her when the time is right: "Kiss me." Or just bring it up, don't wait. Because seems to me a bit strange that she wouldn't want to kiss you. Or she does want to be kissed and the head-down was just her being really shy and nervous. That's when you take a chance and go in for the kill, metaphorically of course, hehe. Or if you're not willing to, ask her "would you kiss me". If she says maybe, then just go in for it; if she says no then retort and say that you didn't say she could, haha. No, but I say just be upfront about it. See--I think you have a right to find out by now if you've been as close with her as you make it out to be.

I was with a girl and we were basically going out for over a week or so, and we had gotten really close but never kissed. I kissed her on the cheeks a couple of times but she never turned her head to me. So I said to myself, the heck with it, I'm going to do it whether she likes it or not lol. I went in and she didn't really move her head, so i had to go straight for her lips on my own. Whats funny is that once I was there, she didn't want me to stop. And we had a long first kiss. It was nice. But every situation is different, i know. But I would say, the next time you see a "moment" come your way, go for the kill.
