If so, have there been periods where you didn't eat breakfast, and can you compare?

Yes I do my best to eat breakfast, there's a reason it's called the most important meal of the day.

I noticed that when I dont eat in the morning I am usually a lot more sleepy and less productive the rest of the day.

Always. I can't remember ever skipping breakfast, but I'm sure I have on rare occasions in the past.

Only when I am sick do I skip meals.

I never feel hungry enough at home - we leave the house around 7 a.m. for work. About 8:30, though, I could eat something, and I know I should. It's just such a hassel at work though! I should just keep a box of cereal in my office and a jug of milk in the fridge I s'pose.

I know I should eat breakfast, even if it's only a banana or something. But I don't. I rarely have an appetite until lunch. And more often than not I don't eat then either. Then I wind up eating all evening. Lousy eating habits, I know.

While I know I should eat breakfast, I rarely do. Only when I go skiing, do I ever eat any breakfast. Brunch is nice though.

I eat when my body tells me it's hungry.

When I was in junior high school I never ate breakfast. It really didn't bother me a whole lot except my stomach made these horrendously loud noises that could be heard throughout the class. I know those people must have thought my family was extremely poor to have me that hungry everyday. I was pretty skinny back then and never bothered when I didn't eat...but man....could my stomach make some powerful growling noises.

I know now that breakfast is a pretty important meal....you should at least get a little something in your stomach to build your blood sugar back up from a night of having nothing.

I go through phases. When I am stressed, I have to force myself to eat a bowl of cereal. When I'm not stressed, I wake up feeling ravenous and I usually have last night's left-overs for breakfast.

I wish ;).. but my wife is always asleep when I get up...

Oh.. you meant food...

No.. I'm not much of a breakfast eater but when I was younger and burned more calories I used to eat breakfast more than not..

breakfast is way over-rated man. i think its a worthless meal unless eaten on a sunday between 11am-2pm at a nice restaurant.

I do now, but it is something I never used to do.

Honestly, I feel exactly the same as I did when I didn't eat breakfast. A little less hungry at lunchtime I guess.

I get up at about 7am and eat at about midday! I cannot stomach food in the mornings!

I only eat brekkie when I am hungover

You don't skip meals when you work out. If you are active enough, you might even have a fourth or fifth meal with snacks in-between each day.

I usually have a 700 cal bowl of oatmeal, and I wash it down with 200 cal glass of OJ.

Yes. A few years back I used to skip breakfast all the time and It made me feel so tired by early afternoon. Now I never skip breakfast and I have so much more energy.:) I also eat a rather big lunch and have a light dinner.

That sounds like my breakfast.

Do you eat it out of a giant, family sized bowl like I do?

I am a bad example I am sure but I only eat breakfast maybe one day a week. Lunch, too. I eat dinner only for 6 days a week and On Sundays I typically have breakfast and lunch as well. I run about 2 miles 3-4 times a week, drink green tea, coffee, and water. Physically I feel great, my muscle tone looks awesome and I have good energy levels.

Yes, ofcourse I do.

Last time I was skipping breakfast was in 1st and 2nd years of uni but I was a much different person back then. I generally lacked more energy than I do since always making sure to eat it. I'm talking about a real breakfast too, not just 2 pieces of toast!

I don't know what breakfast is. Is that the first meal you eat? Does it have to be in the morning? Does it have to be within X hours of waking up? I gain weight when I eat breakfast, because three hours later I am hungry again, if I am working or going to school.

I think breakfast is just part of a good diet: you eat 5 or 55 meals per day and they are all small, healthy and you don't ingest more than 2,000 calories per day. etc.

I am sure obese people eat breakfast.

Check your cholesterol, man.

I always eat breakfast, for as long as I can remember.

I almost always have yogurt and a luna bar (Berry Almond) with water.

I believe it is a 32 oz bowl, and it is filled to the brim. Larger bowls take up more space in my sink.

I usually consume around 3000 cal/day.
