Well I guess the title says it all...Our relationship got rocky near the time my uncle passed away, he was really close to me. It really hit me, I had allot of people pass away but his death just brought me to the reality of life. It gave me this cold chilling feeling, and broke my dreams. My boyfriend was there but we had alot of conflict. I had nights where i told him I was going to commit suicide. I honestly felt no way out, I tried to get through it. But as i come from an abusive family It made me need him more. He broke up with me after my suicidal attempts. I talked to someone, and they told me if you truly love someone pray to god. And I have been praying everyday, it takes precidence over everything. And gives me the feeling of happyness, and takes care of my sadness. If im feeling unhappy or sad I turn to prayers. I do talk to my ex and he said what pushed him away was everytime i tried to finish myself. But now I let prayers replace those choices I made. He said he needs time to be alone, and that he doesnt know if he loves me anymore. I know gods helping me, but what can i do to get him to let go of those things that I tried. There was a point where he acted like he hated me but hes started talking recently. How do i make it known that Ive changed & how do i erase his fear of me doing that stuff? What I try to do is....Ask him if we can meet up as friends, so i can show that I changed, and im not going to pull the same stuff regardless of wether he takes me back or not. How do i regain his trust...Make him not fear me...He is finally talking to me over texts now..
gavinus Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I think you need to work on yourself now. You need to be happy in yourself before you can be happy with somebody else. Give him space and keep it low key for awhile, look out for number one which is you stay safe
