But what I have real need of is a person in my area to talk to and help start me on this path; I live in the south of Texas. I am sincere in this choice and will be glad of any advice or support Thank you in advance
taiko Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Try the phone book or online for the local Islamic Center or mosque. Stay away from the cultish groups like the Nation of Islam at first. If that's the path you take you might get there if the Sunnis or Shia don't work for you, I just wouldn't start there.
